Walt Mott, President/CEO and Director

Mr. Mott started his commercial real estate career when he joined DBSI in 1991. As a member of the DBSI board of directors, his focus was on strategic directional and financial issues of the company. From 1993 - 2006, Mr. Mott was a principal owner of DBSI Group of Companies and had responsibility for management of commercial real estate assets eventually totaling over $1 billion (13 million square feet). Responsibilities included acquisitions, operations, leasing, construction, finance and human resources. From 2005 - 2006, he served as President and CEO of DBSI Development Services LLC, a nationwide development company, and still serves as President and CEO of the DBSI Diversified Realty REIT. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Assisted Housing Manager (CAHM), and is a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Mott holds an AAS degree in Computer Science from County College of Morris, a Bachelor's degree in Forest Management from the University of Idaho, a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Idaho, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Boise State University.

 

 

John Foster, Chairman of the Board of Directors

John Foster is a retired principal and director of the DBSI Group, a national commercial real estate organization. He was affiliated with DBSI for over 16 years. His responsibilities included strategic planning, operations, debt financing, real estate acquisitions and sales. Mr. Foster has had management experience with two Fortune 500 companies and is a retired U.S. navy commander. He has previously served on a number of management boards, including two as chairman. Mr. Foster holds a BS degree from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Tulsa.

 

 

Clare Gaylord, Director

Clare Gaylord is a licensed real estate broker in Idaho, Oregon and Montana. As a fourth generation Boisean, Mr. Gaylord has been the Broker/Owner of Idaho Properties GMAC Real Estate since 1995. He has twice served as Chairman of the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service for Southern Idaho and a board member for the Ada County Association of Realtors. He holds several Realtor designations including the Certified Residential Broker (CRB), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Certified New Home Sales (CRP). He holds a Bachelors degree in finance from Idaho State University.

Prior to 1992, Mr. Gaylord served as a bank examiner for the Idaho State Department of Finance and managed Albertson's Employees Federal Credit Union and Oregon State University Federal Credit Union. His responsibilities as Promontory Enterprises' Vice President/Finance Affairs include financing and equity placement.

 

 

Chuck Winder, Director

Chuck Winder's career in commercial real estate began when he joined MAKAD, Inc., a joint venture company and later a subsidiary of Morrison Knudsen Company that developed and leased shoppong centers across the western United States. He then joined Morrison Knudsen, initially in their corporate real estate department and then as the project manager for the development of the MK Plaza II office building in Boise. He helped launch Emkay Development, a wholly-owned supsidiary of Morrison Knudsen, in Boise and shortly thereafter in the Northwest. Mr. Winder eventually advanced to Vice President of Real Estate while with Emkay Development.

In 1979, Mr. Winder and his wife Dianne launched Winder Development Services, a consulting entity that provides expert assistance to commercial real estate owners, developers and local government. In 1980 they formed Winder Realty Company, later renamed The Winder Company, one of Idaho's first exclusively commercial real estate brokerages. The Winder Company has been involved in many significant commercial real estate projects in the Treasure Valley.

Mr. Winder holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Pre-Law from the College of Idaho, now Albertson College. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, where he served for four years on active duty as a Naval Aviator.
